Disaster Services

Red Cross disaster relief focuses on meeting people's immediate disaster emergency needs. The Red Cross provides vital aid to individuals, families and entire communities. When we respond to a disaster, our core relief services include providing shelter, feeding and mental health counseling, essentials such as clothing, clean up supplies and financial assistance to affected victims.

Health and Safety

The American Red Cross prepares people to save lives through health and safety education and training. We offer CPR, First Aid, water safety, and baby sitting courses to volunteers and citizens in the community. The Red Cross constantly strives to respond to the health and safety concerns of Americans at home, in school and in the workplace.

Armed Forces Emergency Services

The American Red Cross sends communications on behalf of family members who are facing emergencies or other important events to members of the United States Armed Forces serving all over the world. This service is provided 7 days a week, 365 days a year by a Case Worker here in Sioux City.

Both active duty and community-based military can count on the Red Cross to provide emergency communications that link them with their families back home, access to financial assistance, counseling and assistance to veterans. For more information, please call us at (712) 898-0446.
