Disaster Service Overview

Disaster Services fulfills the American Red Cross Mission by reducing human suffering and helping people prevent, prepare for and recover from natural and other disasters.
 
Join a DAT Team

Disaster Action Teams are groups of chapter-trained volunteers who respond to disasters and help meet the immediate disaster-related needs Siouxland Area residents.
 
Disaster Response Training

Disaster Training courses include Introduction to Disaster Services, Mass Care: An Overview, Shelter Operations, Shelter Simulation, Client Casework: Providing Emergency Assistance, Fundamentals of Disaster Assessment, Logistics: an Overview, Logistics Simulation and ERV: Ready Set, Roll. Please contact the chapter for information on upcoming classes. 
 
The Disaster Action Team at Work

Disaster Action Team members are available and ready to respond to disasters within our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Learn how they have provided immediate emergency assistance to victims of disasters in the Siouxland Area.
