All five homes have been decided and we are finishing matching up the final two homes with decorators. As the the size of homes continue to get larger, it has been decided to stick with 5 homes for this year’s event.

 

Tour Guides

Currently we have had a great response from volunteers interested in being tour guides for the event. However we are still looking for committee members willing to step in and take a leadership role. Tour Guide Committee will be responsible for:

Contacting and coordinating tour guides

Tour Guide Training

 

Host/Hostesses

Volunteers have responded with interest for this position and the Tour Chair will be in contact with them as the event gets closer.

Espi Gibbs and Virginia Wightman will be the Co-Chairs of this committee and will contact volunteers regarding scheduling at the end of September. Schedules are flexible and time slots are between 8:30 and 4:30. In addition, more committee members are needed.

The reception area will be at the Tyson event center and volunteers and staff recently visited the facility to get an idea for set-up and how things will be organized.

The raffle committee is doing a Wonderful job getting items to be used for the Raffle/Auction. The next raffle committee meeting will be Friday, Aug 10th time.

 

Media/ Publicity/Marketing

The marketing committee will be meeting shortly to organize the tour brochure and discuss other ways to market this year’s Tour. Discussed was Women’s Night out, posting Flyers on local business bulletin boards and contacting surrounding chamber of commerce for group tours. Other possibilities for group tours suggested were Stream,Alorica, First Financial Bank/ Premier Bankcard, Edge and Churches
